ABOUT US

We support socially engaged people in harnessing the potential of digital technologies.

Sektor 3.0 a program initiated by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, that supports digital transformation and the use of new technologies in socially useful activities. It’s being run by the Information Society Development Foundation.

For the past fifteen years, we have been tracking trends, providing training and consulting, organizing inspiring technology-focused events, and investing in people who want to create new IT tools. As part of our activities, we collaborate with representatives of technology companies, universities, social organizations, and the media. In 2018, we were recognized by the European Commission with the “European Digital Skills Award”!

What we do

Sektor 3.0 is an ecosystem of complementary initiatives that together create a comprehensive digital support environment for people working for social good.

Fund

An incubation program supporting the development of new digital products and services aligned with the tech for good approach. Up to PLN 170,000 in funding and six months of mentoring.

Festival

An event full of inspiration and insights into digital trends, as well as a space for a community passionate about new technologies to share experiences.

Breakfast with AI

A series of small-scale events combining discussions on the latest AI trends with networking.

PAFW Award

We recognize organizations that effectively harness the potential of technology and AI in their work.

E-learning

Certified online courses for organizations showing how to use digital tools effectively.

Who is behind Sektor 3.0?

INITIATOR AND FOUNDER

Sektor 3.0 is a program of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, which supports the development of civil society and local community engagement in access to new technologies. The Foundation sets the strategic direction of the program and provides funding for its implementation.

IMPLEMENTING ORGANIZATION

FRSI develops the digital skills of individuals, organizations, and communities, helping them use technology consciously and effectively. The Foundation’s team is responsible for the development and day-to-day implementation of the Sektor 3.0 program.
